Join Our Founding Board

Emmy's Friends Foundation is rebuilding, and we're currently forming our founding board. We're looking for people who feel called to take an active part in this work.

This is the ground floor

Emmy's Friends began with one family's experience of childhood cancer, and the community that carried them through it. Mike and Aja started the foundation to turn what they lived into help for other families. Emmy is ten now, and thriving. The foundation is still small and still forming, which is why this moment in the board's formation matters more than any other.

To become a 501(c)(3) and do the work, we need a seated board. The people who step in now will help decide what the nonprofit becomes, how it shows up for families, and where it goes first. Every governance seat below is open. If the story resonates and you want a hand in building something from the ground up, we would love to talk.

Emmy's Friends is a Colorado-incorporated nonprofit in formation. We are building our founding board and will file for 501(c)(3) status once governance is in place.
