A nonprofit walks in. The tent is full of butterflies.
By Campout's eleventh year, Emmy's Friends Foundation had incorporated as a Colorado nonprofit and made its debut at the festival that had helped bring it into being. The booth was something people stopped to look at: hand-painted signs, vintage china, dried herbs and citrus, kids running a lemonade stand, butterflies and prayer flags overhead. The Chaffee County Times called it "bourgeois in appearance, but totally open-hearted in purpose." That about covers it.
